Biography

Natasha Yvonne Barigye is a seasoned international lawyer specialising in Public International Law, International Criminal Law, International Human Rights Law, and International Humanitarian Law. With extensive experience working on high-profile cases involving genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, Natasha has advised on accountability efforts in Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda, and the former Yugoslavia.

Her expertise extends to access to justice in conflict and post-conflict settings, where she has led initiatives to support vulnerable populations, including refugees, through collaboration with legal aid organisations and international partners. Natasha provides strategic counsel on governance reforms, post-conflict reconstruction, and integrating international law into domestic systems to promote justice and sustainable peace.
